Sessions promoting mind and body awareness…
Step 1: Stress control and relaxation using breathing techniques and gentle loosening exercise. (Usage of breath to release)
Step 2: Energy building and strengthening using Chi Kung exercise and visualisation. (Usage of breath to energise and then to release)
Step 3: Balance and co-ordination using breathing, balancing and joint opening exercises, working our way through the body from bottom to top.
Step 4: Concentration and focus using Infinite Tai Chi form - learning a sequence of movements to improve memory and mind and body balance. Repetition of the form creates a moving meditation. (However, the whole duration of the class and the content is designed to be used as a moving meditation).
